Refund policy
At Arca Cards, we take pride in providing authentic trading card products and clear, fair policies for our customers across Canada. Please review the following information carefully before placing your order.
Order Cancellations
In-Stock Orders
- Orders may be canceled before shipment. A 10% restocking/processing fee will be deducted from the refund. The 10% fee will be based on the total order value.
- Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and becomes subject to the return policy.
Pre-Orders & Back-Orders
- Pre-order cancellations incur a 10% processing fee, calculated on the total order value.
- Some pre-order listings may be marked final sale / non-cancelable — these terms apply without exception.
- Release delays, allocations, and manufacturer changes are outside of our control and do not qualify for refunds or fee waivers.
- All pre-orders are charged at checkout.
Sale & Discounted Items
- All sale items and items purchased using discount codes are FINAL SALE.
- No cancellations, returns, refunds, or price adjustments.
Returns Trading Card Game (TCG) Products
Due to the nature of collectible products:
- All TCG products are FINAL SALE.
- This includes (but is not limited to): Booster boxes, packs, ETBs, bundles, tins, Singles, sealed cases, special collections...
- No returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted for TCG products under any circumstances.
Cosmetic Seal Damage
- Minor tears, rips, dents, or wrapping imperfections caused by manufacturer or transit handling are not grounds for refunds or store credit.
- We do not guarantee sealed products will be free from cosmetic imperfections.
- Packs and contents are inspected to ensure internal integrity.
Returns (Non-TCG Items Only)
- Eligible items may be returned within 7 days of delivery.
- Items must be: Unopened, Unused, Undamaged, In original packaging
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
- Returns are issued as store credit only.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Return shipping cost and processing is the customer’s responsibility.
Non-Returnable Items
- Trading card products
- Gift cards
- Plush items (sanitary reasons)
- Clearance or sale items
- Special orders or large custom quantities
Refunds & Store Credit
- Approved refunds are issued as store credit only.
- Store credit: Has no cash value, Is non-transferable
- Refunds are processed after returned items are received and inspected.
- Original shipping fees are not refunded.
Shipping Protection / Insurance
- Shipping protection is non-refundable.
- It cannot be removed after checkout.
- Claims may require photo or video documentation during package opening.
Lost, Undelivered, or Damaged Shipments
Transit Damage
- Damage claims must be reported within 24–48 hours of delivery.
- Customers may be required to open an investigation with the shipping carrier.
- Manufacturer defects (printing errors, missing cards, damaged contents) must be resolved directly with the manufacturer.
Undelivered Packages
- If delivery fails due to an incorrect address provided by the customer: Refunds will be issued minus a shipping fee (e.g. $14.95)
- Carrier investigations may reimburse up to $100 + shipping, subject to carrier approval.
Price Adjustments & Market Pricing
- We do not offer price adjustments or retroactive refunds.
- Collectible prices are market-driven and subject to change.
- Sale pricing and promotions cannot be combined or adjusted.
- Prices can change as the market moves. If a price drops after your purchase, we don’t offer refunds or adjustments. If it goes up, you’ll always pay the price you ordered at.
